Gaffer: Frank DiPaola

A look at Frank DiPaola's bookshelf is sure to raise a few eyebrows. Upon shelves and shelves of books on film theory and technique lays one shelf dedicated to advanced college level mathematics. A San Fernando Valley native, Frank decided against pursuing a career in mathematics in favor of film because he "needed something a little more intellectually stimulating." He attended classes at Los Angeles Valley College where he took classes in everything from editing to cinematography. Upon arrival at CSUN, he immediately began lending a hand whenever one was needed. He is currently in his third semester of a CTVA Film Production degree, with an emphasis on cinematography, kicking ass and taking names, but mostly just kicking ass.
