Sound Mixer: Eric Capella

Eric Capella, 23, is a semi-professional Sound Designer for motion pictures and Television. He has worked on many short films and some Television programs. He has worked in production sound in various capacities as early as the age of seven. He has become very passionate about the art of sound design and how it can completely alter the way a film is perceived.

Working in theater as a sound designer and mixer Eric became fascinated by the power sound has on the human psyche and how it affects the arts. After completing nearly fifty plays as a he has decided to move on to the film industry.

In High School Eric was the head of the stage production class. During Senior year he replaced the vacant seat of the retired teacher. Eric is currently working on achieving his Bachelors degree in the emphasis of sound in the widely respected film department from California State University, Northridge. He is currently a student member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors as well as a student member of the Audio Engineering Society. He is now one of the founders of Fitcus Audio, a sound company that he runs. He is also part owner and one of the head producers for Fictitious Films.
